Also include letters, 1860-1866, from Eloise C. Conner, Haywood County, Tenn., to Edward Hill, King William County, Va., regarding slave illness, her trip to Tennessee from Virginia, the financial climate before, during and after the Civil War, her invalid daughter, and her management of the farm and raising of her family during her widowhood, and love poem, 1819, by Edward Hill. Other correspondents include James Govan and his daughter, Elizabeth T. Govan Hill. Also include letters, 1826-1848, from Elizabeth T.
